What I think

 who almost won the last time. Almost won is lost. She will be running against the same person she lost to the last time. What are the odds that will change. Especially, when the voters are left wing whiners without any ability to think critically say that; even tho they don't like the way things are going in the state, the will vote for her because she is not a Republican. Hard to win against stupid.

 about driving on the freeway is all the people who drive in the right lane while people are trying to get on the freeway. Those on the freeway are supposed to allow people to merge on, they don't, As soon as I get on the freeway I move over I do not move back to the right lane until I am past the last on ramp before my exi +'+

 a political candidate who said she was going to continue to oppose Trump and fight for affordability. Now if your main focus is to fight someone else then you are probably not helping me. The government has made things more expensive with taxes and regulations so it is doubtful they will want to loose all that money they can waste on things we don't nee. Maybe she should have said something concrete about what she believed or wanted to do. I told them to stop texting.

 Who is telling  the truth? One government says one thing the other says something else. Main stream news does not seem to report anything accurately. Podcasts are clearly skewed to one side or the other so while you might get the truth it is probably not all of it. So who do you listen to?

 I read an article that said it would cost people about 1000.00 more to follow the new food pyramid. Fresh veg and  meat are always more expensive. Why should it be more than processed food no one seems to know. I guess you have to decide if you want to be healthy and give an extra thousand dollars to big food conglomerates or if you want to be sickly and give hundreds of thousands to big pharma.

i just read a post from some celebrity saying she had so much hate in her heart for Trumps America and I just wanted her to know that no matter her beliefs or feelings I will never hate her. Too bad she can't say the same thing about me. 

 greed is the problem. I just went to Safeway, did not want a bag, was not even asked if I wanted one but was charged .10 for a paper bag. The ridiculous law says the bags must be reusable and that you can charge .05. Paper is not reusable. This one went right into recycling, something I also pay for.   Of course the store is going to charge as much as it can while paying as little as it can. So safeway buys cheap paper bags and sells them for as much as they can to people who don't even want them and can't do anything about it once it is charged. Greed, it's a thing.

 and if you believe it you have a problem. You don't know where the info you see on websites come from; particularly political content. You don't know the agenda of pod casters or where they get their info. They just want you to click so they get money and you think the way they want you to. When your internet friends post things you don't know where they got the info or what the intention is in reposting it. People have to think and to research before you believe anything.

 I challenged myself to be more productive, to do all the things I wanted to do. To finish projects. Did I do it? Not so much. I had productive days but so much is not done. Of course, my to do list was arbitrary and made me no worse a person by not completing it.

 what am I getting from your most recent 2 percent rate increase? I have gotten nothing from the increase last year or the year before that. Am I getting better service or better infrastructure? No. Are Ceos getting more money? Probably. Are you spending more of my payment on giving free services to people who can not afford it? Yes. So I get nothing but you want me to pay more. Does not make sense to me.

 how fast people can turn on each other? Someone thinks someone else is the greatest thing, they agree on everything and then that someone does something they don't like and they turn on them. One thing they don't agree on and it is over. They bad mouth the person they no longer like much more then they talked nicely about the person when they liked them.

 wants people to plant trees. I guess they did not count all the trees they cut down to make room for more houses and apartments.

 wrong and should be avoided at all costs. And, if we lived in a perfect world that would be possible but we don't. There is a faction of this country who believes violence is ok as long as it is against the people who don't agree with them. War should also be avoided at all costs. Again, if the world were perfect; but it is not. Fighting for someone else's rights may be the best reason to fight as long as the people you are fighting for are fighting with you.

 There is a proposed law in Oregon that would criminalize hunting and fishing. While neither of those things appeal to me and I find hunting are horrible thing I wondered what exactly this law would do.? I   know the reasons for hunting but I still don't like it. And in a state that seems to have no use for green space the animals will move ever closer to people because if they are not hunted there will be more of them. Nature can not take care of all the animals. Well, not only would hunting and fishing be illegal, so would pest control and animal slaughter and rodeos and using animals in wild life practices.  I doubt most people will read the fine print of this law or any law for that matter when they vote.   And what else would this do? Force people to buy meat products from other areas, not locally grown product. This would put ranchers out of business. They would have to sell and the sate could build on that land loosing more green space. This gives go...

 I am confused by the celebrations after the supreme court decided that the tariffs have to go. Every county has them and if this was the thing that would bring business and jobs back to this country why wouldn't you do it? I am pretty sure that according to the constitution the president can order tariffs in times of need. And they are needed. We must bring business back to this country. And not charging them will not bring prices down, cooperate greed still abounds.

 I generally do not actively take part in Lent. Never understood the point of giving something up. So I give up coffee does that some how make me a better person. I have, however, set Lent challenges for myself. I have been more mindful of the things I say about other people, particularly other drives. I did this several years ago and it was a success. I set the same goal last year, blew it on day one. I This year my challenge is to be more productive, to do things that will help me be a better person, to follow through on things I say. This is day 2 and so far so good.

 the same way if you don't like the way the government is going? I just read a survey that said most of those surveyed did not like the path the state was on but most said they would vote for the same governor. Why? I guess people are that stupid.

 So the state wants to share ownership of the Moda center with Portland. It brings in millions of dollars but needs some work. So the brain trusts that run this state have decided to tax the players, the performers and anyone else who uses the space a tax. They will also tax business in the area. I wonder how much money they will actually make when these taxes are passed on to the consumer. They want to do this to any team who wants to bring baseball to the area. So far, no takes on that. This seems similar to the jock tax in CA where super bowl players are going to pay more taxes than the actually earned playing in the Superbowl Why are people dumb?.

 what's in it for politicians who actively encourage people to become criminals? To cause hate and problems for so many people.  What can they possibly get out of all the mess they are making. We say a very small protest the other day. Maybe 20 people holding signs walking quietly down a sidewalk and I wondered if they would respect my opinion as much as I respected theirs.

 the president for their children's behavior and their bad parenting. If some kid says something mean to your kid, he has a bad parent. If your whiny child can't handle it because you have raised a victim, you are a bad parent. You, no one else, is responsible for your child.  Try harder.

 then the weather we are having now is perfect. Below freezing overnight, mid 40s during the day with beautiful blue sky and sun. I know we are going to go back to rain and will probably have a transition period where it is still cold but wet so we could get snow, but, for now, we are enjoying this lovely weather.

OR enacted around 200 new laws in Jan. Most do nothing for the average person. No job creation, no cost cutting measures. Nothing that will make a difference to the voters who elected these law makers. And who needs so many laws anyway? Maybe if people were just decent human beings and not whining, takers the stupid laws would not be needed.

 I paid 2.95 a gallon today. Has not been below 3 bucks in years. What is going on? Who is responsible for this? Other gas stations are still anywhere from3.39 to 3.79. What's with them?
