What I think

 I am of the live and let live generation. The philosophy being that everyone could do what they wanted as long as the didn't hurt anyone else. Such a bad idea. This led to the everyone gets a trophy generation and I am owed whatever I want no matter that it isn't mine and I didn't work for it. And now to the I don't want to be a boy anymore so I'll just be a girl. So So wrong. It is time wrong was pointed out and people are held accountable. Everyone doesn't get to do whatever they want because they are not only hurting themselves but they are hurting society.

 It just boggles the mind how people react to celeb news and how celeb reacts to news. One says something another doesn't like it, reposts the incomplete statement and then everyone is up in arms. Usually the info is not reported completely and no one bothers to find out what the first person really said. Why can't people just keep their mouths and computers shut. Someone says something you like. Ok, you don't like it, move on. People have way too much free time if they have the time to start trouble where there is no trouble. And then the first person some how feels the need to apologize for what they said. Lesson; if you are going to have to apologize for it later don't say it in the first place. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

 I have absolutely nothing to write about, but, blog was on my to do list today. I find that if I write things down there is more of a chance they will get done. So, I am writing.  Using a to do list to form habits could be driving one into a rut I supposed.  Ok this is going no where but I wrote so good on me.

 Isn't that what the government always says; just give us tax dollars and will take care of homelessness and hunger and all the things. Problem is they have no clue what to do with tax dollars they just want them. Wouldn't it be great is someone actually had a plan that would work and then said how much it would actually cost. Even a plan that costs too much would be better than give me money an it'll all go away. Portland has given itself an art tax and a homeless tax. Comes right out of your paycheck, even if you don't live in Portland. No idea what it is supposed to be for. Unless you think graffiti on a boarded up building is art. And the homeless population keeps going up so if that was that tax is for it is working. Think hard before you give the government any more money to mishandle.

 Voting is a right and a duty. One many places in the world still do not have. And so, I wonder why it has come to further divide this country. Not just along political lines but ethnic and financial ones too. Only felons and non citizens are not allowed to vote. So why is it such a problem for anyone else. Polls are open to everyone. If you truly cared you could get to one. You could ask for a mail in ballot and even scrounge up the money to pay postage if you had to. If you don't care why do you have to complain like the rest of the people are keeping you from voting. It is too far, costs too much, I have to work, excuses not reasons, and if it were important to you you would find a way.
