Moda
So the state wants to share ownership of the Moda center with Portland. It brings in millions of dollars but needs some work. So the brain trusts that run this state have decided to tax the players, the performers and anyone else who uses the space a tax. They will also tax business in the area. I wonder how much money they will actually make when these taxes are passed on to the consumer. They want to do this to any team who wants to bring baseball to the area. So far, no takes on that.
This seems similar to the jock tax in CA where super bowl players are going to pay more taxes than the actually earned playing in the Superbowl
Why are people dumb?.
