What I think

 Gas prices rose again at the cheap station. 60 cents from 730 am to 4 pm. The excuse; storms and refinery problems. Except, prices started going up before the hurricanes were certain. Most of the states are not suffering because of the storms and the gas being shipped out currently has already been refined so refinery problems don't fly either. So prices locally are now higher than before prices started going down and have gone up almost 2 bucks in less then a week.

 Last Monday morning I bought gas for $3.99. Thursday morning it was $4.29 and that was the cheapest increase I saw. On Friday evening the cheapest gas in our town was $4.29. Sunday am in was $5.29. Other stations were higher. The price is more than it was a couple months ago before the prices started to go down. I had just heard a report from, which ever useless government agency keeps track of this sort of thing, that gas prices had gone down a few cents each week for the past 14 weeks and that it would probably go up 5 cents and then level off, This is way more that that prediction. Now OR has always been higher than the national average, OR is just special like that. Explain. The explanation is not 'it's Putins fault. I'll wait.

 I watched a women come into the store pick up a few things and walk out, The clerk called to her but she just kept walking. I have seen people steal before but they at least tried to hid it. This one no. I later saw her with some other people so I imagine there was a lot of merchandise lost from stores today. Why is this happening? Lack of consequences. It is easier just to let people steal and pass the cost off to the law abiding people. There is no excuse. People know right from wrong. And just because they can get away with it does not make it right.

 What I don't understand is why this government does not want this country to be self sufficient. Why can't we pump our own fuel, grow what we eat and make what we need. Why does the government insist on doing business with countries who would gladly get rid of us. And, they can. Because they feed us and give us what we need. For a price. A high one. Why aren't the people of this country becoming more self reliant? Why aren't they at least growing their own food? Doing what we can to save and stretch what we have. Because we too are beholding to  country that does not care about us.

 Gas prices. I did a graph which compared prices before the new president and after. It clearly shows the new president could have had something to do with the increase. The government says it can't be responsible for gas prices going up tho apparently it can take credit when they start to come down. And another graph that compares covid cases from during the lock downs and now. Cases are higher since the lockdowns but no one seems bothered by that. if you come into this country illegally, even if the government allows it, it's still illegal and you should be sent back to where you came from. And tax payer dollars should not be used to support you. And call yourself what you what but biology and dna don't change.
