Political ads

 Are the stupidest things around.

Bidens "I'm going to take care of you health care like I do my own family" is a joke.

He must not be aware that it was the government that caused people to loose their

insurance when they closed everything down.

Of course, he is going to get a handle on the virus once he is elected. Guess he must be God or a

really great doctor because virus are almost impossible to 'cure'.

The placement of commercials is also amusing. You see an ad for a candidate followed by an

ad against the candidate then an ad for his opponent and an ad against his opponent.

Think it is time to stop running political ads. And while we are at it to stop running

ones for medications too.

Lent challenge

 I am always joking about what I am giving up for Lent but never do. I mean what kind of sacrifice is it to give up coffee. But this year, on Ash Wed. in fact, I decided I would challenge myself to give up saying all the snarky things I say to and about other people. If I could do that it would be something. On Sunday the priest said Lent is not about giving up something but about getting back on track and getting to where you want to go. And so, this is the perfect challenge for me. FYI, I have failed multiple times already. 40 days is just way to long to be good.

In the news

 I heard a news story about a school that was not allowing students to participate in year end activities if all their fees had not been paid. This is not an unusual stance, I've heard it before. It is not right that the children are punished for something they have no control over and the fees still won't be paid/ But, what struck me the most is a parent who said 'this is just showing them that if they don't have money they don't get things'. Um duh. If you don't work and earn money and save for things you want you don't get them. And you shouldn't. What happened to the Americans who worked and expected nothing from anyone. Where did all those people go?
